Food insecurity knows no season. Yesterday, a “bit of a cold one”, the staff of ChemSource Recruiting was privileged to distribute fresh fruits and vegetables to those with need as volunteers for the Greater Chicago Food Depository’s “Pop-Up” distribution program at a health clinic in Chicago Heights, IL. The Greater Chicago Food Depository does amazing, impactful work, and hundreds of families who braved the cold received nutritious, delicious fresh food they might not otherwise have ready access to. We are thankful to have contributed to this important effort in some small way.
